Nigerian Scam variant email

The following is a variation of the Nigerian Scam that I mentioned previously. I received this email at my primary email account, but I do not know this person, nor do I have a profile at this email account that she should have had access to (nor does she use my actual name in the attention line). This version uses all of the common elements, but puts forth a more sympathetic character for you to interact with. I should point out that I have received similar emails periodically over the past several years.

Email Subject: Urgent Assistance

I am Mrs.Mariam Adama I am a widow being that I lost my husband a couple of years ago.My husband was a serving director of the Gold exporting board until his death.He was assassinated by the rebels following the Political uprising ,

Before his death he had a foreign Deposit up to the tune of $17.5m which he told them at the point of depositing that it was for the importation of Gold processing machine.I want you to do me a favour to receive this funds to a safe account in your country or any safer place as the beneficiary.

Also i have plans to do investment in your country,like real estate and industrial production.This is my reason for writing to you.Please if you are willing to assist me and my only son Ahmed, indicate your interest in replying soonest.

All the information concerning this fund will be giving to you as soon as you show your concern and promised to keep this confidential.having read your profile with great interest.I want to establish with you in your country.I await your urgent response.You should include your direct telephone number,
